  1. it is always a surprise isn’t it, though really it shouldn’t be, as they are regular visitors. These days i always have a strong sense of relief that they’re back….

    • Yeah, they’re very common here too, but I guess I’m always surprised that it’s that time of year. And, like you, I’m always relieved to see they’ve found their way back. Them and our golden-cheeked warblers.
